First snow of 2011...

Thought I'd go to the park or at least drive around a bit to get some good snow pictures, but the "authorities" want everyone to stay off the roads. Looks like it will get even worse soon, with some sleet and freezing rain on the way before night.

I still need a good tree image, so I might just walk down the street and see what I can find later this afternoon while the snow is still on the limbs.

Woke up this morning expecting a dusting of snow, and there was about 6" on the ground, and it was snowing pretty heavyily! Mind you, I'm no videographer, and I'm still getting used to taking movies with my new camera.

After shooting some of the snow covered trees, I wandered down by the river to see if I could find inspiration there. The rocks had hummocks of snow built up on top, and I think it made for a beautiful sight.
