A foggy morning in London meant that none of the tall offices in the City of London were visible from the Oxo Tower Wharf. Because of this I decided to get a shot looking towards the 'square mile' with just the illuminated dome of St Paul's Cathedral standing tall.
I guess that before construction started on the Nat West Tower (now Tower 42) in 1971, the view would have looked similar to this - forgetting of course the rebuilt Blackfriars station/railway bridge and the construction crane on Victoria Embankment.
