I have been to allot of places and events with the F3. I've tried to sell it a few times, only to realize that I cannot part with it. If digital were to disappear tomorrow,,, out of hibernation, would come the F3.
Along side, is the venerable D3; my current camera of choice. Fitted with the; terribly underrated, AF 28-105 nikkor(from the F5 era). With a Macro mode that makes this the go everywhere do evrything (on a profesional level) camera for me. Both can be had, for a fraction of what they cost, when new. There are faster cameras today with more pixel count, far more sensitive sensors, better focusing, fancier lenses, with new tech.. But this one works fine for me.

Also located in this area is the seat tube reinforcement along the center line of the keyhole,, to keep it from splitting as so many Routens do over time.
