I.D.s 77 & 22017 photographed by John Ward on 1983-12-07 using a 35mm film camera producing a colour negative or print that has been scanned and digitized.
In 1983 this extremely rare Albion Model 80 ex m/o 1187 was purchased for restoration. The bus is now restored and located in the Sydney Bus and Truck Museum at Leichhardt in suburban Sydney, Australia.
The bus is shown here in a storage yard at Moe, Victoria, Australia. A day later the bus was towed to Sydney a distance of at least 1100 kilometres or 700 miles. The driver of the Mack B61 tow truck was extremely careful and took about 36 hours to make the trip at a very slow speed. He and us spent quite some hours preparing the bus for the tow as it was in very poor body condition and needed to be braced throughout the body to prevent it from falling to pieces on the highway.
