The Sydney Ferries "Karingal, Lady Street and Freshwater at Circular Quay, Sydney, N.S.W., Australia.
The much larger ferry the "Freshwater" is exclusively used on The Circular Quay to Manly service - distance of 7 miles (11 kilometres) and crosses the Heads where the open sea beyond can affect the passage of the vessel.
The other two ferries operate on across the harbour services to wharves on the northern side. They also go to the west under the Sydney Harbour Bridge to other wharves towards the upper reaches of the harbour and the two rivers that flow into it.
