Nature is my greatest source of inspiration. The color patterns, linear and value patterns found led themselves to so many personal applications.it staggers the imagination.
I will be teaching a workshop on these patterns in Virginia, Nov. 18th through Nov 20th. The venues is just outside Washington D.C. close to many historical locations and to the Capitol. Contact George Jacob for information (george.jacob@gmail.com)

Dale's '39 Chevy pickup again, this time with drivers. In addition to the pickup, I wanted to get the rhythm of the swaying grasses, and the delicate lines of tall strands of it against the dark pickup. The geese are for humor and to add to the center of interest-the door and interior. The whole thing was a challenge because I don't own any masking fluid. Most of these were painted around, and a final four were lifted out using tape and a sponge.

I did a couple of drawings of this barn one evening after a workshop. The cadence of the fence needed some altering, but the barn itself was like this.
