View of Ile-Alatau peaks from Talgar pass, the big peak at right is Pik Komsomola (4330m.) with glaciers. It took a lot of effort to get there from Chimbulak ski resort base camp, the path is near vertical up ski slopes, though in July and August a ski lift operates to the 3000m. pass.
The James Bond film "The World is Not Enough" was I believe filmed in this area. The tags have a few memorable lines from the movie.
