View from a seaplane over the 70 islands nature conservation area in the republic of Palau. These islands are a protected marine habitat, and no boats or divers or snorkellers are allowed to enter, so the only way to see them is by air. I took these, and other upcoming photos from a 4 seater seaplane with OPEN doors during the flight!.. Definitely keep your seatbelt securely fastened, do not have anything in your pockets that may fall off, strap your camera around your neck, and do not DO NOT! try to change camera lenses during the flight, anything loose will fall off.

Coral and marine life at the Big Drop Off dive site where the reef surrounding the Palau archipelago drops into the open pacific ocean. This is looking below vertically down the dropoff, the water surface is behind the camera. Taken with a rented Sony camera with underwater housing. I don't know what model it was, everything was in Japanese, all I knew was how to turn on the camera and what button to press to take a photo.

Jellyfish Lake, one of the prime tourist attractions of the Republic of Palau, Micronesia. These photos were taken with a rental camera with underwater housing.
The jellyfish evolved in the lake without any predators, and over time grew vegetarian and lost their ability to sting. Their red color is a result of an algae diet. The water in the lake is salty and connected underground to the ocean but not even the tiniest jellyfish can get in or out.
