Taken in the late afternoon using a darkening filter to get a long exposure, about an hour before sunset, the cloud descended subsequently on the peak as the light got better, and I will upload those photos in the coming days, but this is one of the few I could get with the summit exposed.

Pacific coast blossoms in the dry season, Guanacaste province, Costa Rica. Most of the leaves have fallen for the dry season, and a cortes tree? is blossoming.

Beach below El Sabanero Beach hotel in Guanacaste province, Costa Rica, in the early morning. I went down the cliffs for a morning swim in the ocean when the foreground was in shadow and the sun was still behind the cliffs, but after I was done the foreground looked quite nice, too bad the tripod was up in the hotel room, I could have done a long exposure

Night view of the central valley including the national capital San Jose, from the slopes of Poas volcano, taken from a hotel room at Poas Lodge, at about 2500m. altitude. The valley itself averages 1200m. altitude. Similar to San Jose, California, many tech companies are investing there. At street level, it's just as exciting as the California namesake, which is not much at all.
