The rock formation in the foreground is Roque de la Bonanza, taken just after sunrise, El Hierro island, Canaries. The sun was playing hide and seek behind clouds behind the frame and the clouds won eventually, in any case the sun does not shine on the rock formation until 10:30 in the morning (in April).

Small dune fields at Caleta de Famara, Lanzarote island, Canaries, taken in the late afternoon before sunset. It's difficult to find a spot without footprints in the foreground, and parked cars in the background, a narrow road lies between the dunes and the beach, I had to stay low and try to hide it behind the dunes.
