Kyrenia harbor before sunrise, north coast of Cyprus, fortunately the illumination of the fortress was kept on all night, giving me 2 blue hour opportunities within 12 hours.

I have been having image quality issues after resizing, lately I''ve been using the trial version of zoner, resizing to 720 pixels from the original with 140% sharpness, but look at the bottom part of this image, something's not right. In the past I used the "save for web" function in photoshop, all date, gps and exif data was lost, but the reduced size image quality was better.

Hala Sultan Tekke, a small 18th century muslim shrine at the edge of a salt lake near Larnaca, Cyprus. It's conveniently located close to the airport, I had a morning flight out, given the calm conditions after days of wind and rain, I could not resist the photo-op.

Paphos castle at sunset, the sun was partially veiled under clouds.I can't decide which one of these I prefer, maybe the this one, even though the sea is more distant.

Flickr decided on the second one to be the main photo, but looking at them more, I prefer this one.

Tidal variations are not a concern here, it's the Mediterranean, the waves here won't sneak up behind you and swallow you whole like the big oceans.
