Nauders castle, Tirol, Austria, a high altitude ski resort at the Italian border, I believe the castle is now a hotel. My Italian rental car had serious issues on the snow covered streets here, a tip for travelers: Never rent a car in Italy in winter if you want to visit the Alps, as almost no vehicles are equipped with winter tires, even with the reputable agencies, they charge a "winterisation fee" regardless, but no antifreeze in the window washing liquid, and no snow tires. 2 weeks later I rented a car in Germany for the same price, with the same company, (Hertz), the difference in quality was shocking, I wanted to keep that car forever.
