I went to a favorite forest preserve today in hopes of finding a cool bird to photograph, as there are often blue heron and other interesting birds that frequent this spot. Instead, I was so happy to have met Pistol Pete and his partner Jerry. Pistol Pete obliged my request to make him photo of the day.

If you look closely, you can see a rabbit in front of the far right quarter of the wall. Luckily for the rabbit, on the far left portion of the wall, there is a hole that two baby raccoons were sticking their heads out of. Pistol chose the raccoons.
