This point is near the Rushey Platt station site, with disused trackbed that gave access to the GWR to the right. Swindon Works with some of the diesel scrap lines remaining are in the background. Examining the slide with a lupe indicates power car as 253 002 (later 43005) which survived into re-use as part of the shortened (First Group) GWR HST formations.
