Lotus cut her pad down at the river last visit (nasty cut that took 3 stitches and 2 weeks of heeling, the stitches are coming out tomorrow) so we haven't spent much time down there since, and I heard we were lucky we weren't at the emergency vet for a snake bite as they've been active down there apparently ... so maybe a beach trip will be in order instead, this week :-)
