5/33 - I tried to get a shot of "Me'nmydog" (the 52weeksfordogs challenge this week) but failed with Texas, I'll have to give it a more dedicated attempt for next week.

This is Texas going in to retrieve the tennis ball at the beach. An "as active as he's gonna get" shot and one of very few attempts I've displayed at the colour "popping" ... I'm not really a fan of my colour selections (I like others), they just never seem right when I do it ;-)

25/33 - for my (mid-far) Northern Hemisphere flickr friends I thought I'd feature a little summer colour.

Although we've had daylight saving in effect since the beginning of last month, the weather hasn't co-operated except for a few burst, I hope this most recent increase in temps lasts a little longer than a day or 2 - I love summer! I must need the sun for energy :-)

oh and yes I see Texas has a grass seed stuck in his head. As soon as he reaches me after this shot was taken (less than a sec) I pull it out, but like it in the shot as it is quite representative of what summer is about :-)
