For my first 52 Weeks for Dogs shot of Jamie there are just a couple of things I'd like to say ...

Jamie is a girl lol - I'm pretty sure her name was heavily influenced by Helen Hunt's character in "Mad About You" one of my fav shows at the time she came home.

She's 12.5 years old, but has only really slowed down in the last 18 mths or so.

and she's aloof. I thought this shot of her jumping up into my arms would be kinda a testiment to that side of her personality - she's never been treat rewarded for this "trick" surprisingly, but she loves doing it, get her on the ground and she requires a determined effort to give her a cuddle or pat.

Plus, I thought I'd highlight her still active side.

toying with the whole kelpie riding on the back of sheep, or on the back of motorbikes or on the back of utes or on the back of horses or ... well you get the idea ;-) ... ain't none of those things to ride here in the suburbs for Jamie girl, not even a real ride-on mower lol

nothing particularly inspiring this week for Jamie. She loves a good game of retrieve with the tennis ball (particularly). This pic shows her getting ready to drop the ball right at my feet, lifting her head up high to get a good roll-on it (almost a throw), or right into my hand if I ask! She will do this every time, go from carrying it normally to juggling it in her mouth ready for the drop :-)

eta: I don't think this shot really shows enough surroundings, but I liked this one better than the others that had a little more reference, and since I'm telling you where she is I guess you can make up your own laundry, it'd probably be nicer than the untidy reality
