really enjoyed my visit to Mount Beckworth Scenic Reserve this morning. since I only walk on flats I found the step ascent a little hard going in parts, plenty of stops for photos was the best way to overcome that issue. though this is shot from the top
I really wish to do more exploring this year with a view to improving landscape photos, the way I enjoyed this so much I'm hopeful that that prospect won't be too challenging for me :-)

maybe Ansel Adams had something to do with this (I got a book of his for Christmas), or maybe I adore editing my beach photos in black & white, and so I got an Ansel Adams book for Christmas :-)
