For 12 months for Dogs 2018.

Saxon is an old hand with this photography business. He's 6 years old now and he's had a couple of years in the 52 Weeks, a 365 in film. That was an interesting year, only managed 6 mths with the film camera in the end (not least thanks to the film being stuck in the camera for a while haha). Also of course, with and without Biscuit here in 12 months. Quite a career when I lay it out like that :-)

He's super easy to put into position for photography: mostly jumping on things, big rocks, tree branches, mounds of dirt, storm water drain covers; I can direct him out to trees, or poles, or anything that stands out; back him up a few paces; bring him forward; send him left and almost right (though that is an inexact science); sometimes he can hold things in his mouth, something I am trying to improve; he can down, stand and sit from a distance, although I would like him to sit straight for photography, he tends to slouch, or roll on a hip; and more often than not on walks he goes out looking for things I may like him to stand on or go around or put his paws on

of course he does all this for a throw of the ball!

this photo? shot with the lensbaby edge50, still playing around with that, I feel it's quite different to the composer pro lensbaby ... Saxon in between ball throws at an oval on a hot summer afternoon :-)
