finally managed to get some Australian wildlife into my weekly non-dog set ... I've tried parrots, and kangaroos, and black cockatoos all of which I see wild here where I live, but for one reason or another they've not worked out ... this fella was one of a pair that alerted me to their presence with their laugh, so camouflaged otherwise, they don't tend to hang around for photos of course and I didn't have my longer lens on, but I thought this was representative of their habitat in general and you can hopefully see him/her perching :-)
I love their laughs, such an awesome way to wake up, and snakes are their prey!
