Treacle is not a very country dog, but oh how she wishes she could be running through the paddocks after the birds (particularly), rabbits and anything else that would run from her :-)

on the other hand, she'd probably run from the horses and cows that inhabit the paddocks she is gazing at here ;-)

she has the long-line (too big for her little frame but the only one we have) due to basic unreliability ... this park is between a railway line and major road, farm land, rabbits galore ... and no proper fencing as far as I can tell ...

fwiw I've never seen anyone at this park

she groomed up well a few days after this shot :-)

soaking up some mid-morning sun at my mother's feet as she reads with a coffee ... for the companionship theme.

Treacle is quite independent, she loves to explore, but she seeks comfort by ma's side anytime she's a little uncertain, like when the boys get rowdy or I want to do some grooming hahaha
