as a quick re-introduction: Biscuit is 9 years old, my liver spotted Dalmatian "little boy". He's a big softie baby who's independent on outings but likes to snuggle up indoors and sit on your feet when he's a little worried about the thunderstorms.
I still get him out on runs, about 2-3 times a week between 5 & 10kms (I was originally interested in the Dalmatian because I wanted a running partner, and he is my 2nd - although he's a very different personality to my first) but his favourite thing is being with Saxon.
He's a keen toy dog and loves to destroy the ones he can and is able to find them quickly in long grass when I ask for a wait then throw then "fetch"
I'm not sure what he's thinking in this photo but I sent both Saxon and Biscuit into the undergrowth and just watched them looking for something? I had a toy on me, and they knew, but a little earlier we had to leave one behind that had gotten snagged on a blackberry bush - there was honestly no way to rescue that toy! - maybe they thought they were still looking for that?

I've taken a few single eye macro shots in my time, so I thought I'd try a close-up focusing on both the Biscuit boys eyes for the "close-up challenge" - there may have been some cheese involved hahaha

took the little boy for a more interesting walk this week by himself while Saxon was still out of action. Biscuit loves the freedom to sniff but sticks close by mostly, he got a swim in and some posing, here watching a dog coming up the hill adjacent to this spot, and a good run around with the ball too :-)
