In the days when the buses in Stockton-on-Tees were rather more interesting than they are now, OK Travel's LBO 80X was one of a number of Leyland Leopard/East Lancs acquired from Inter Valley Link (previously Rhymney Valley).
It is seen in the High Street working a Thornaby Circular on a damp November evening in 1989.

As an antidote to the current heatwave, we see Brighton & Hove Scania/East Lancs 616 in North Street, passing the 1888-built clock tower (which Pevsner declared as 'worthless') on 6 January 2010.
Buses had been taken off during the morning as road conditions worsened, but were brought back from late-afternoon.

Amongst the vehicles in the fleet of The Big Lemon are three ex-Bournemouth Dennis Dart/East Lancs saloons, used on their term-time service between Old Steine and Brighton University. 451 (M451 LLJ) takes up the service on 25 February 2010. The buses run on 100% locally sourced cooking oil. Is it coincidence that Harry Ramsden's Fish Restaurant is over the road from the Old Steine terminus??
