This is the Bethesda Chapel in Albion Street Hanley, which was featured in the BBC2 series 'Restoration'. It dates from 1819 with alterations in 1859 and 1887. The grade ll listed building was in a sorry state when photographed on 19 September 2003, although renovation was then underway; it looks rather better today!

Mk XVl Spitfire RE388 at Hanley Museum in April 2008. It is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment, it's condition having deteriorated in recent years. It dates from 1945 but never saw active service. It arrived in the Potteries following duty as Gate Guardian at RAF Bicester in 1969.

This is the New Inn, Derby Street, Hanley. I like the 'Bass' script sign still on the side wall. It also has two Bass lanterns, although one has lost it's glass.
