One of eight installations during the event Lights in Alingsås 2014 – this year the theme is the music of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. The music is from his best known composition: the music for the play Peer Gynt by author Henrik Ibsen. The place for the meeting between music and lighting design is the beautiful Nolhaga Park.
Workshop head: Torbjörn Eliasson, Sweden. "The site is divided into three stations. In every station, the song 'Solveig´s Song' from Peer Gynt is played, but in different versions. The groups have been using the same components like white screens, RGB-luminaries and regular flood lights with coloured filters. The assignment for the workshop team has been to create different expressions and emotions in the lighting design."
