At least once in your life, you should stay up all night and wait for the sun to rise with your special someone.

Well currently my daily routine involves getting up and waiting for the sun to rise so I can work on my 365 photo. Now that the sun is coming up earlier and earlier every day I might not keep this particular routine. Although I can't sleep when the sunrise begins, the light starts to fill my room and I just am driven to leap out of bed and get moving.

odc - favorite sight - the sunrise

Today my grandmother would have turned 98 she passed away at 95. She had such a great influence in my life and I don't ever want to forget her. Sometimes we need a reminder to think of those who have passed because we get so busy in the day to day craziness of our lives.

My older daughter painted this ceramic teddy bear for me many years ago. It sits on a bookshelf in my bedroom. A few years ago it fell from the shelf and part of the paint chipped off under the left eye. It's funny how these little things can bring back such memories. They don't mean much to anyone else but to me they are priceless treasures that could never be replaced.

Getting ready for the season of love :) albeit about a month early. I need lots of practice.
