Oh today was one of those days that when I reviewed the images I took I was disappointed so I went for something different. I guess I need to continue to work a scene until I get what I envisioned. Sometimes I can walk away with a few shots and be happy, other days I can take a bunch and still not find anything to my liking. I am sure I am not alone with my frustration.

I didn't envision this image when I began this morning. What I was going to do was a fruit shot but wanted a glass plate to put it on. So I was rummaging around under my bed looking for an old picture frame when I found this poster of Audrey Hepburn. I was still going to just use the glass as a reflective surface but my daughter had left her dress up jewelry in the kitchen so instead of picking up the fruit, I grabbed the pearls.

I have to admit I haven't actually watched this movie but I think she is a classic beauty.

Shopping at Swiss Days in Midway, Utah. This is an annual event that my husband and I attend every year, we arrive early to try to avoid the crowds but obviously we weren't early enough.
