I really struggle with color images so I have decided to challenge myself for the month of June to work in color.

My mom gave me this necklace last week, she LOVES jewelry and I just might have to raid her stash for more props.

Keeping on with the color red. I shot these grape tomatoes in a silver bowl using natural light. The bowl was a natural reflector, you can see the light wrapping around my main subject.

We should strive to bolster and support those around us who are in need. Once they are strong enough though we remove the strings and let them grow and flourish knowing that they were given a sound foundation. If tied too long the support becomes a requirement and those cannot learn to weather the hard times. Whether it be trees or people, the results can be the same.

Sunrise and sunset images are beautiful but cliche so I tried to come up with a creative way to shoot it. I was hoping the colored marbles would add a little pop of color but in retrospect I would remove them and just shoot the lens.

I removed this Sliders Sunday group. I don't think it qualifies... perhaps more processing?
