We visited a lovely town called Chatham today, I love all the English names here but then it is New England! Here we saw seals swimming in the sea and sunning themselves on a little island...too far for me to get a decent photo, always need a bigger lens! ;)
Sorry I'm still not around much to comment, hate to post and run but there are sights to be seen! :)

We visited a place called Sandwich where we had a sandwich for lunch...what else would you eat there! My husband ordered a turkey and cranberry sandwich and I ordered a cheese and salad sandwich. The turkey sandwich came out, it was enormous, and we waited for mine, eventually the waitress came over and apologised explaining that the reason mine hadn't come out was because they had misunderstood the order and put the fillings for both sandwiches into one! I don't know why I didn't take a photo of it...it would have been much more interesting than this one! It was a miserable day (for photography) again today and the little pumpkin I bought the other day was still in the car so here it is...hitchin' a ride.

This is an edited version of a pic I took some time ago, on a visit to Cape Cod. Taken in Wellfleet when we stopped for a meal on our way back from Provincetown. Just before sunset, the light was gorgeous. It's one of my favourite photos from the trip.
I cropped it and cloned out a couple of distractions. Original in comments.

The Weekly Alphabet Challenge - O for October
For Bokeh Wednesdays. HBW
We arrived in Boston yesterday, our apartment is fabulous but I'm glad we bought a kettle as there is just a coffee maker here too. There seems to be a herd of elephants living above us but at least they don't appear to be nocturnal!
We were hoping for row upon row of colourful trees here in Boston. We did our research to find all the right places to go for the best sights. However after a mild spell of weather the trees are only just beginning to turn so there are only a few here and there with gorgeous colours. It could be worse though, they could all be green still.
We visited the Cheers bar this evening...well, it had to be done. We ate there and I had a pumpkin beer...don't knock it until you've tried it, it was delicious.

Day 15 For October: A month in 31 pictures
Another photo of this amazing net sculpture above Green Way Park in Boston. Taken on our last day in the city, the sky was wonderful and the sun caught the colours beautifully.
The sculpture weighs approximately 1 ton and is made up of over half a million knots.
Home now, jet-lagged, fuzzy headed and bleary eyed after a tedious journey where the entertainment system was down...par for the course really! It will take me a few days to recover, then I hope to catch up with all your photos.
