Looking over Mong Kok and Hong Kong from our hotel room. This is the start of an adventure for us, 3 nights in Hong Kong then on to New Zealand, then Melbourne and Sydney. I hope the jet lag doesn't last, I had 2 hours sleep last night...on the upside, I got a lot of reading done! ;)

For Macro Mondays theme - Contraption.
5/100 for The 100 x challenge. January's theme is minimalism (I think this counts)
I wasn't planning on participating in MM while we are on our trip but when I saw the coffee filter jug in our hotel room it was perfect for this weeks theme. I do apologise that I am not around to comment...things to do, places to see! ;) HMM everyone.

Victoria harbour, Hong Kong in mist and rain. A bit of a washout for photos but it was great to see this junk sailing across the water.
A bit late in adding this to my 100 x challenge but I totally forgot that I had decided to to some of my 100 on my travels...if I don't I will never get finished!

Cheeky Ted, sneaked in the suitcase when he heard we were going away, so far he is enjoying his adventures although I'm not sure what the others will think! He decided to climb up and sit by this sculpture of a red guard, in our hotel in Hong Kong. HTBT

100 x challenge - photos from my travels.
A waterfall at the Nan Lian gardens at the Chi Lin Nunnery in Hong Kong. It's such a beautiful calming place and I just loved these rocks with the water flowing over them. I put my tripod up to try to get a LE but was told to put it down, even though there were no signs to say tripods weren't allowed. So I tried my best hand held leaning against the wall.
