A Lensbaby shot of my Osteospermum. One of the plants we purchased on our recent visit to the garden centre. It's brightening the garden up nicely.

100 Flowers 2020
These marigolds are from a self seeded border in my garden. The same border that we sowed our wildflower seeds which turned out to be red and pink poppies so it's been a riot of colour. It's been too windy to take outdoor shots so I picked these for a still life. Feeling lazy, I couldn't be bothered to set up the tripod or change lenses...standards are most definitely slipping here!

Our poppies are blooming early this year, this one was laying on the ground so I brought it inside for a photoshoot, it was quite an obliging model.

I usually like to leave lots of negative space but somehow I felt this looked better as a square crop, making the clematis the star of the show. I took a few shots of this flower so will probably be posting more...especially as I feel I need to get a wriggle on with the flower challenges.
