Day 213/365:

A visit to Felbrigg Hall, Norfolk, today. Lots of sheep around but these two, a mamma and her lamb, really caught my eye and the first thing I thought was Paul Simon's Mother and Child Reunion.

I added a texture, my own. I think it enhanced the background...I hope it did.

Day 214/365:

An ICM of some red and green leaves in the walled garden at Felbrigg Hall, Norfolk. I flipped the image sideways as I thought it was a bit more interesting.

We've been away again for a few days. Had very poor internet connection so now I'm home I will start to catch up tomorrow.

Another macro double exposure where I made the first image totally blurred and the second in focus. I'm enjoying these but am aware it's all a bit samey...needs must though. This one is the echinops in my garden. The bees love these and I was being dive bombed constantly while photographing.

Trying to catch up after my break but had our grandson for the afternoon so will attempt to catch up this evening.

Day 216/365:

The Sweet 35 is (was) not my favourite of the Lensbaby lenses. Today I realised why. I was trying to use it for images that I thought it should be used for instead of sticking to my style or thinking outside the box. So here we have a double exposure. First exposure is of the berberis bush and the second is of the roses...both in my garden. A bit of faffing and a texture added and I'm quite pleased. May start to use the Sweet 35 a bit more now.

Day 217/365:

Our little grandson is going to be a big brother in a few weeks time. I thought it would be cute to get a photo of him holding these socks. This wasn't intended to be my photo of the day but I didn't manage to get another shot.
