1/31: October 2022: A month in 31 pictures

Last year I made fabric pumpkins, this year I am crocheting them.

I took two shots of the pumpkins, one for the 365 and one for the October challenge. The other one is in comments.

Day 275/365
October 2022: A month in 31 pictures

After four months of back pain, two of which, the pain was caused by a prolapsed disc. I was improving so much, my osteopath was pleased with my progress and thought it would probably be okay to start using my camera again. This morning I decided I'd just take a fairly simple shot and get it out of the way. Bent down slightly and bang, it felt like the disc prolapsed again. I didn't even manage to get the shot I wanted but had got this one which isn't as sharp as i would have liked.

I know I've said this before but I'm really not sure I can carry on with the 365...or the October challenge. I will see how things are in the morning but there are only so many iPhone shots I can get while being so incapacitated, and I think I may have already exhausted them all. To say I am fed up is an understatement.
If you got this far, I am sorry about the whinge.

Day 276/365:
October 2022: A month in 31 pictures

After my whinge yesterday, I have decided to just take one day at a time again and see how things go. I saw my GP this morning and she has given me some strong pain killers and a muscle relaxant so hopefully they will help. No more picking up my camera for a while though so if I can come up with an idea on a daily basis, using my iPhone, I will stay in the game but not going to put any pressure on myself. Looks like more in the spotlight series, and maybe a few more with my 'helping hand'.

Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday - by special request from Dana :)

Baby bear is just the right size to fit in my hand prop. So that's another day sorted. Looks like the hand could have its own series at this rate. HTBT

Day 278/365:
October 2022: A month in 31 pictures

Not really tea, just the dregs from the teapot with a little water added fill the cup. As for sympathy, feel free...

I've taken very few still life images with my iPhone (apart from the spotlight series). Thought I'd attempt this one using the menu from my birthday tea at Luton Hoo. My Canon is redundant for the foreseeable future so I have got to work out a new way of doing things that won't damage my back more than it is already.
