GS77-43. The NSWRTM used to run freight train tours. You were given about 24 hours notice, that the tour would be running. If you wanted to participate, you would catch the mail on friday night, the freight would run on saturday, and catch the mail back to Sydney Saturday night. The NSWRTM would have a car attached to the mail, then to the freight & back on the mail again.
This tour was the Western Mail to Parkes, freight to Cootamundra, and South Mail back home.
