One of the cool new City - Traffic Sets for 2009 was the new 7639 Camper.
Lovely in white and lime, and with cool additions including a fish, surfboard and bicycle. The model opened up to reveal the interior with two removable seats and coffee cup.
This recreation has been modelled in Miniland scale, and expands the features of the original model.
Adding features to the base vehicle, including Vee-Four engine (equivalent to a V8 package), rear live axle suspension and steering.
The camper facility now include a stove, sink, double bed, table and internal ladder.
To facilitate easier play, the roof is now removeable separately, whilst the swing out sides are also folder in the middle to reduce the cantilever.
The figures are based on the colour scheme of the original, but are a miniland scale posable figure.
The surfboard and seats also receive some overhauling. The board gains fins and a two-tone scheme with stripe, the seats feature a curved back and round support. A little fold out table is similarly detailed. The bicycle is borrowed from the Ambulance overhaul, this time in red.
