Though this 1956 Oldsmobile looks far from plain. In 1956, GM 1950's styling hadn't reached is dizzying, crazy peak quite yet. This Oldsmobile model showed which road they were taking. Two-tone paint, plenty of chrome, developing tailfins and wrap-around windows show 1950's glamour over every inch. And it was a big car. Sharing the 122in wheelbase with other B-Body GM cars, there were bigger models still. The engine was a 324 ci vee-eight of up to 240 hp. Two-tone interiors were available also, and there was chrome aplenty on the inside too.

The 'Holiday' part of the model name comes from the bodystyle - a two-door pillarless hardtop design, common during this period.

This lego model has been build with a full separate chassis, lego piston engine, independent front suspension and live rear axle.
