Preston Manor, Preston Park, Brighton.
Originally 1250, rebuilt 1738, altered 1905.
Grade ll* listed.

The house was substantially rebuilt in 1738, probably to the
designs of Thomas Western, then Lord of the Manor, and is of two storeys over a basement.
This house was altered and enlarged in 1905 to the designs of Charles Stanley Peach.

Clock Tower, Preston Park, Brighton.
Dated 1891 on the foundation stone to the west and 1892 on an inscription to the south.
Designed by Francis John Charles May (1839-1906), Borough Engineer & Surveyor of Brighton.
For the Recreation Committee of Brighton Borough Council.
Paid for by Councillor Edward White.
Built by F Patching & Son.
Red and buff terracotta, brick and stone, granite, copper,
tiles.
Grade ll listed.
