For her early August bi-weekly nail appointment, Ms. Essay chose to wear her pinkish-beige sleeveless and belted dress with its subtle print pattern of white outlined squares. To color-coordinate with the white belt and squares, she also chose to wear a white pearl necklace along with white pointed-toe high heel shoes.

A few moments prior to departing home for the nail salon appointment, Ms. Essay set her smartphone’s camera for a time-delayed exposure, mounted that camera on a photographer’s tripod and pointed it at a chair placed in the main floor hallway of her townhome to capture this seated pose.
