I worked for this guy, He would not let me get close, so I watched where he kept diving and ran up dropped "getting as low as the location would allow" and waited for him to emerge, when he did he popped up and seen me rite away raised his hood and allowed me to get 5 shots off before he dove and went out of range

American Redstart from Matthew Studebakers North American Songbird Photo Tour here in Northern Ohio. A terrific group of participants, all very experienced and accomplished photographers with extensive backgrounds in photography. I really had a great time.

I think we Photographed extremely well close to 20 species. and seen many more. I would say it exceeded most everyone's expectations.
