I did not see many Northern Shovelers while in Nome, this one came from a roadside pond on Kugarok road about 40 miles from the town of Nome.
I am really missing it there now that I am back at home and settled back into lifes fast pace of work, eat and sleep.

It's a privilege to visit places such as this and the memories will last my lifetime..

These Ring Necked Duicks were fairly abundant at Santee Lakes and Cooperative. I had good light my first evening there, Whenever I go back I will spend more time here. I would like to do better on several species and I like the fact you can get down low there.
