February 2019 theme : Minimalism

Quickly snapped this as I saw the nice silhouette and light coming from the early morning sun. Been there for a mangrove tree planting in pre-celebration of World wetlands day (Feb 2). This year's theme is Wetlands and climate change -wetlands as natural solution. Mangroves buffer strong waves and tsunamis.

Almost overlooked the horizon... :)

This ornamental plant had been one of my fav subjects to shoot because of its ability to catch moisture and light. It was unfortunate that it wilted and died when we transplanted it,,. sigh....

The smoke coming from somewhere created the bluish haze in the background, early morning light, sun partly hidden through the vegetation, .It rained at night.

Passed through this place from one of my field works yesterday. I overheard a fisherman on the boat, saying " be good on your poses, she's taking our picture, smile...! " and then after this shot. one of them shouted, " oh no! my eyes were closed!!! " Well... :)
