Santa brought Benjamin and his Grandpa a special present to share. Yesterday Benjamin got his first chess lesson from Grandpa and seemed to be soaking it all in. In the shot below, they are studying "Chess for Children".

This is what our grandson was singing as we went on the boats at Greenwood Forest Park (near Caernarfon) at Easter.

Greenwood Forest Park is a great place for children, with lots of hands on activities to prize them away from the TV or video games. We've been quite a few times with our grandson and each time he's had a great time. Over the bank holiday weekend there was the additional attraction of "Dr Zig's Giant Bubbles". In the shot above he was demonstrating the bubbles and advertising the show, later that day.

The shots in the comment were taken in the informal show in the afternoon, where the children were very much involved. I don't know which was more fascinating to watch - the amazing bubbles or the expressions of the faces on the watching children.
