Our boat trip to Delos also gave us 3 hours to explore Mykonos Town - also known as Chora, which just means town. This was the view from near the harbour.

This taverna was just by the harbour and looked a lovely location to eat. If you look closely, you can see octopus hanging from the ropes on the boat - though this is common in Greece, I suspect these particular ones were plastic, put there for the tourists.

The beach at Mykonos Town - I image in high season it would be heaving! Mykonos has a reputation as a party island but by day it is very peaceful. No wonder Shirley Valentine wanted to stay...
