This was actually taken in the morning light but looking directly towards the sun. I liked the way the figures were silhouetted against the bright sunlight.

Morning light on the inner harbour at Mevagissey. Although there are some pleasure craft and tourist facilities, Mevagissey is still very much a fishing village.

The shot below shows our approach to the harbour from our hotel.

The gentle bobbing of the boats and the movement of the clouds through a long exposure has created a rather soft blurry image that I quite like. I wish the foreground boats in the second image were slightly sharper though - I probably should have used a higher ISO for that one.
