Camellia at Ness Botanic Gardens in January. Just a few of the Camellias were in flower and many of the flowers showed frost damage but I managed to find this rather lovely one.

There were quite a few snowdops of various varieties, flowering in the woods at Ness Botanic Gardens, earlier this month. This little hoverfly was taking advantage of the early flowers.
