Anything and everything, if it remains immobile for long enough, will be overwhelmed with the mosses of the Pacific temperate rainforest, the largest temperate rainforest on the planet, stretching from coastal northern California up through British Columbia Canada, on through Alaska's southeast panhandle and ending across the Gulf of Alaska on Kodiak Island.
