37510 "Orion" gets into it's stride with 5L46 10.28 Castle Donington EMDC to Yarmouth C.H.S. returning the Eastern Rail Services coaches which had been used for the class 93 testing at Old Dalby. A route that would take it via Toton, Retford, Peterborough, Stratford and Ipswich due to various line closures along the more direct route. Pole shot. 28/09/24.

DB Class 66 044 0Z57 comes to rescue MPV DR98901 & DR98951 as 3S57 after it broke down at Aintree.

66 044 dragged the MPV to Kirkdale depot as 1Z99 and shunted it into the siding.

I got this MPV at Chester and Birkenhead North on 25/09/2024 and it had issues at both of those stations.

Presumably arising from the failure of BB “Tangmere”, 33029 and 33207 provide the power for the outward leg of the Lune Rivers Trust excursion, 1Z55 0844 Carnforth-Carlisle. Apologies for yet another picture at Docker but it’s the go-to location on this stretch of line and the sun seems to have come up trumps here on every occasion when something monstrous has been out recently. What was surprising was that the gallery consisted only of myself, the organist and a tin of spaghetti.
