Il Ponte di Vigo si trova nelle immediate vicinanze della stazione in cui è possibile prendere i battelli che si dirigono a Pellestrina: è l’ultimo ponte della cittadina prima di entrare nella laguna.
Venne costruito nella seconda metà del 1600 in sostituzione di un precedente ponte ligneo.

The Vigo bride is located in Chioggia, a town in Northern Italy which is sometimes called “the small Venice”, because like Venice it has canals, “calli” (the internal roads) and “Campi” (the squares).
This bridge is the last one in the town before entering in the Venetian lagoon : it was built in the second half of XVII century replacing an old structure made of wood.
