Soncino è un borgo nella campagna cremonese, ed è famoso per la Rocca, che venne costruita dagli Sforza fra il 1473 e il 1475. La Rocca, a pianta quadrata, è preceduta da un rivellino nel quale si apre il ponte levatoio sul fossato ed è munita di quattro torri (una delle quali cilindrica) collegate da massicce mura che in alcuni punti raggiungono lo spessore di 4m.

Soncino is a small village in Norther Italy, near the town of Cremona.
It is famous for the presence of the Fortress, built by Sforza family between 1473 and 1475.
This Fortress has a square plan, and it is preceded by a ravelin on which there is the drawbridge; it has also four towers (one of them is cilindric), connected by very massive walls (on some points the thickness of the walls is 4m).
