Risale al 1285 ma venne rimaneggiata intorno alla metà del ‘300: per le sue vasche concentriche ricorda la Fontana Maggiore di Perugia.

La Piazza del Comune a Fabriano (Ancona) è di forma pressochè triangolare ed è chiusa sul fondo dal Palazzo del Podestà (1295), dalla cui scalinata è stata fatta questa foto.
In primo piano si vede la cosiddetta “Fontana Sturinalto” (cioè che “manda l’acqua in alto”), del 1285 ma rimaneggiata intorno alla metà del ‘300: per le sue vasche concentriche ricorda la Fontana Maggiore di Perugia.
